FSO's Wealth Management Practice provides integrated advisory services to firms dedicated the Wealth Management business (retail brokers, private bankers, private asset managers, retirement specialist and trust organizations) in the banking, capital markets, asset management and insurance industry segments. The service offerings provided by the Wealth Management practice include:
- Operating model design and execution
- Integration services for merger and acquisitions
- Investment products design, development and launch
- Financial planning and advice platform build-outs (business, operations and technology)
- Risk advisory; market, credit and operational
- Regulatory and compliance services including advisory services around suitability and fiduciary responsibilities
- Retirement and trust services including advisor support and product allocation tools
- Technology strategy and enablement
- Information management services and security (process and controls)
- Front and back office platform assessment, selection and implementation
- Program management and project lifecycle advisory services
We currently have career opportunities for individuals in FSO's Wealth Management (WM) practice with a focus on all critical aspects of the business; front office, back office and operational efficiency. The WM practitioners will work directly with clients to transform and evolve their current business; from how their business models are organized and operating (front-to-back) to what products, service delivery and technology solutions should be implemented to address mission critical challenges. The goal is to support our clients' efforts to make their business units more profitable, effective and efficient and, where required, provide services in connection with the development and implementation of technology solutions. These positions fall within our overall Wealth Management Practice and can be part of any of our three critical service lines; Performance Improvement, Risk Management and Information Technology. ResponsibilitiesLevels of responsibility will vary depending on prior experience and educational background and they range from leveraging existing client relationships to expand our Wealth Management footprint to managing project teams through all phases of an initiative, to being an individual team member contributing to the execution phase of a particular initiative. All of our Wealth Management practitioners are client facing working with the top 50 Wealth Management firms in the US and advise clients on a variety of business issues that help identify, assess, manage, measure and transform the organization's performance and capabilities. They use industry experience, business process skills, organizational and technology capabilities and knowledge across several of the following focus areas:
- Wealth management, retail brokerage, private banking, private asset management and retirement/trust operating models.
- Financial advisory team models; individual brokers, asset/money managers; registered investment advisors, financial planners, tax specialists, transaction support specialists, etc.
- Financial Advisor Workstations and other front-office tools.
- Financial planning and financial advices models, methodologies and platforms.
- Investment products; securities, fixed income, UITs, managed accounts (SMAs, UMAs,) mutual funds, etc.
- Client segmentation strategy and implementation including customer relationship management tools and technologies.
- Retirement planning platforms, models and methodologies.
- Service delivery models and operational efficiency; business process design, development and implementation.
- Online portals; account aggregation, portfolio analytics, overlay management, etc.
- Trade order management and back office clearing and settlement.
- Consolidated client reporting.
All of our Wealth Management professionals participate in engagement management, engagement execution and reporting, client relationship building and management, mentorship, training and development of more junior members of the practice. To qualify, candidates must have:
- a bachelor's degree and approximately 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 4 years of related work experience
- a bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, computer science, engineering, or a related field; MBA or MS degree preferred
- a minimum of 3+ years of experience working at a professional services firm, financial services company or comparable experience working as an advisor to a financial services company
- experience working in a wealth management firm, private bank, investment management firm, capital markets firm, or as a consultant in one of these companies
- demonstrated ability to manage and supervise a team through all phases of the initiative life cycle
- strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing industry and deep content knowledge in the Wealth Management area
- ability and comfort level researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies
- willingness and ability to travel approximately 50%-70%

Previous project experiences in:
- Implementing front office wealth management advisory platforms
- Implementing financial and retirement planning platforms
- Implementing operational risk technology in a wealth management environment
- Evaluating and selecting a broad spectrum of wealth management point solutions across multiple client segments
- Architecting complex and comprehensive wealth management platforms with multiple software solutions
- Requirements and implementation in performance measurement client data, and client reporting
Application/Package experience in any of the following:
- Financial Advisor Workstations (i.e., Thomson, SunGard, Odyssey, etc)
- Performance Measurement (i.e., Eagle, DST, Investment Scorecard, Informa)
- Back Office systems (i.e Beta Thompson, Broadridge/ADP, National Financial and Sungard)
The successful candidates should possess strong knowledge of and experience in supervising and executing all phases of an initiative, based on proven project management methodologies.
