- Project Management accountabilty for finance solutions

 

- Prepare project plans/implementation plans and lead weekly project status meetings, including preparing agendas and minutes

 

- Work closely with senior project sponsors, Solutions management team, key business users and technology to assist and drive execution

 

- Develop relationships, influence decision makers and drive results through effective management of direct reports, matrix relationships, cross-functional teams and external partners

 

- Provide leadership and direction to a team of analysts including coaching and staff development

 

- Become the subject matter expert related to work stream / projects

 

- Liaison between business users and systems development group

 

- Ensure projects follow Citi processes and meet Information Security policy requirements

 

- Troubleshoot in an organized fashion by breaking down issues into components in order to solve the problem

 

- Work with subject matter experts to produce relevant artifacts (process flow charts, user requirements, user guides, release notes)

 

- Must be self-starter that is able to acquire and comprehend the knowledge needed for the project very quickly

- 7+  years prior experience in financial services working on medium to large-scale projects

 

- 4+ years of industry experience within Finance at a global bank

 

- 7+ years' experience managing a team of business analysts/project managers for the entire project life cycle from initiation through implementation

 

- BS/BA required (MS/MBA a plus)

 

- Strong understanding of Risk, Portfolio Management, Regulatory Reporting for multinational banks.

 

- A hands-on leader able to work both in a team and independently in order to execute on the deliverables for the project in a fast-paced environment

 

- Strong Knowledge of Regulatory Reporting Practices, Risk Measurement and Analysis

 

- Solid understanding of financial products on a bank's balance sheet

 

- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

 

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

 

- Excellent interpersonal skills

 

- Strong multi-tasking skills required

 

- Must be able to come up to speed quickly - quick learner

 

- PMI/PMP certification a plus

 

- Advanced Excel skills required
