Financial Sponsor Coverage – Internship recruitment
Main responsibilities
- Assisting in originating sponsor-backed LBOs in Europe (UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy), the U.S. and Asia
- Liaising with internal departments across the Bank involved in the transactions (MA, Leveraged Finance, ECM, etc.)
- Following core financial sponsor clients, portfolio companies and their most recent developments across Europe and globally
- Preparing and attending meetings with clients
- Preparing credit memorandums and internal reporting documents
- Supporting other teams in the department
Education
The candidate will have graduated or have finished at least his/her second year at a top university and will preferably have a strong interest in the Private Equity industry.
Abilities/Skills
- Strong communication skills (fluent in English, French a definite plus)
- Must have strong research and writing skills
- Must be able to multi-task
- Excellent attention to detail
- Autonomous and self starter
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Adaptability and flexibility to take responsibility for discrete elements of project assignments
- Proficiency in IT (MS Excel, Power Point, Word)
- Any discipline welcome, but strong numerical and writing skills and a proven interest in finance mandatory
