FIR Regional & Country Reporting Analyst – APAC recruitment
This role will sit within the Finance Integrated Reporting (FIR) division of Finance Shared Services (FSS). FSS is responsible for the provision of core accounting services across Finance including Performance and Regulatory Reporting, Planning, Forecasting Analytics, Operational and General Accounting and Data Management.
The Regional Country Reporting team delivers high quality reporting and analysis for our clients to support performance evaluation and decision making at a country, regional and Group level by producing timely regional and country management information. The position is a permanent role based in Singapore primarily supporting the regional reporting Centre of Excellence, specifically the production area, coordinating closely with offshore resources to produce regional and country global MIS.
The role will support the initial implementation and production phase.
Key deliverables and contribution as follows:
- Oversight of the production and review centre for ongoing regional and global MIS.
- Automation and execution of robust cross check of regional/global production process and data, creating a reliable and granular error catching review process across each data run for current and historic data.
- Ownership and accountability for timeliness, data accuracy and process adaptation as needed in delivery of various Regional Reporting data sets and reports to various stakeholders.
- Primary owner of process documents related to MIS product suite within Regional Reporting group.
- Data mining/aggregation and ad-hoc report building across regions for creating detailed off-the-shelf transparencies in support of regional reporting queries and issues both from senior finance and business management.
- Assistance in the design and implementation of a sustainable and efficient processes for the ongoing provision and support of regional and country level requirements, which will include the reporting of revenues (contribution and client), costs, Headcount, Balance Sheet RWA.
Requirements:
Our ideal candidates should have the following requisites:
- Degree Holder with minimum 3 years of relevent experience within a financial institute.
- Ability to communicate at all levels in the organisation
- Possess strong people, relationship management skills.
- Delivery focused with excellent organisation, planning skills
- Ability to pay strong attention to details, ensure consistency and accuracy of regional and country financials on out trades versus global product reporting.
- Independent and highly motivated
- Ability to perform under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
- Adaptable, flexible and acceptive of change.
- Knowledge of investment banking products , business process and reengineering skills in a Banking environment is an advantage
- Strong Management Accounting experience.
- Excellent time management, presentation and organisational skills.
- High degree of IT literacy, especially Excel, PowerPoint.
