Firmware Engineer
As an Enterprise Solid State Drive (SSD) Product Firmware Lead at Micron, you will work with product development teams to deliver enterprise class SSD products. In this position, you will provide firmware direction for on time delivery of firmware as necessary to support product delivery. You can expect to work closely with other firmware engineers, firmware test engineers, system hardware design engineers, product engineers, memory design engineers, and production engineers to solve cross-functional design issues. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Participating and providing expert firmware input to planning of work to be completed in the delivery of SSD products. Participating in SCRUM/agile processes and distributed code reviews. Supporting product delivery and OEM qualifications. Working with engineers as required to work out strategies for development which requires candidate to be able to interface and understand technical and schedule tradeoffs.
