Job description
The First Day Start Location Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the candidate onboarding and first day start (FDS) process for the metro NY area. This resource will:
* Deliver a seamless applicant experience throughout the entire recruiting process
* Prepare for various onboarding sessions for new IBM employees
* Facilitate completion of legally required and IBM-specific new employee documentation, including the I-9
* Ensure accurate completion of all documentation and ensure compliance with all documented guidelines
* Run E-Verify on all new hires; ensure process is followed for any tentative non-confirmations
* Oversee or assist various site events throughout the co-op/intern season
* Manage specific process areas with regards to onboarding
* Present a brief overview on benefits to new employees
* Coordinate with site security for the new hire badging process
* Serve as a flexible resource able to meet last-minute needs for on-boarding processing, as requested
Required
- At least 1 year experience in using organization skills
- At least 1 year experience in communicating effectively
Preferred
- High School Diploma/GED
- English : Fluent
