Our Lester, PA site is now hiring for a First Medical Party Associate
Handles to conclusion non-complex first-party Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims, including Medical Pay. In cases where complexity of file increases beyond proficiency level, file is escalated to next level for handling. Handles claims in multiple states. May take First Notice of Loss (FNOL) calls. Assigned as owning adjuster when injury exposure is identified for first-party medical benefits. Resolves claims within authority level. May handle income continuation and essential services suffixes. Advises customer on coverages and benefit levels, explains the claim process and collects required information. Researches to determine coverage eligibility for applicant(s) according to policy conditions
Approximately 85-90 % of time spent on the job involves the use of a personal computer and/or telephone. May be required to travel by car or plane to conduct business.
This position is expected to relocate to our Mt. Laurel, NJ site by the middle to the end of 2012.

Preferred:
- Negotiating skills
Required:
- BA/BS in business, insurance or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to obtain license in required states
- Valid drivers license with clean motor vehicle record
Preferred:
- 1-2 years of claims experience
- Bilingual a plus
