FISCAL OFFICER / CPA
Franklin County Children Services works with families and children to help them live and grow in safe, stable and permanent homes. We are recruiting for a fiscal professional to serve as controller to assist CFO with financial reporting, budgeting, title IV-E reimbursement, and related general ledger work. Supervises fiscal management issues in conjunction with accounting manager and helps generate data for audits. Utilizes SACWIS (Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System) to oversee placement payments of approximately $70 million per annum. Must be flexible in balancing internal controls with needs of children and families and be able to contribute to various special projects. Required strong proficiency in EXCEL, will train for MUNIS, SACWIS,BRASS, and MAXIMUS systems. Bachelors in Accounting and minimum 10 years work experience in government/not for profit required. CPA preferred. Must demonstrate culture awareness, sensitivity and a commitment to meeting organizational goals. Competitive salary and excellent fringe benefits.
