Fitness Club Manager (Womens Only Club)

Experienced Fitness Club General Manager for a women's only fitness facility in Burlington, Ontario.
Overview:
The fitness club General Manager is responsible for overseeing operations for all departments, supervising a team of employees, generating revenue for the branch through promotion, marketing, and sales of club services.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a club manager in the fitness industry preferably at one of the top 5 fitness clubs in Canada. A competitive, charismatic and professional attitude are key as well as this role requires a high level of responsibility in a demanding industry. Previous technical training and a post secondary education is an asset and preferred for the managerial role.
Must have experience running a fitness club which includes responsibilites such as delegating duties for up to 20 employees, scheduling club events, generating new business through sales, handling employee issues, and overseeing specialized fitness classes. Club hours are 6am - 11pm monday to Friday and 7am - 6pm on the weekends which does require the ideal candidate to be able to work flexible hours.Training will be 4 weeks and having a vehicle is requirement as travel time is extensive during the training period.

Starting Pay: $40,000 base salary plus benefits and bonus. Our client has a bonus structure based on sales and branch success on a monthly basis which is at an estimated $20,000 or more yearly on average for already established branches.
