JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Delivery/Installer
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible to bring a high level of commitment, desire and organization to meet and exceed quality control and customer satisfaction standards.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. To maintain a neat and orderly warehouse inside and out, while safely operating any equipment.
2. Continually educate yourself on the company’s product lines and new products.
3. Understand and follow the non-negotiable standards set by the company.
4. Maintain the appearance and operation of your vehicle, including oil changes, tune ups, tire rotations and any maintenance needed.
5. Schedule your time appropriately as to arrive for work fifteen minutes before your scheduled time to handle any changes or paperwork.
6. Train yourself to handle complaints at the field level and provide the customer with the finest customer service available.
7. Read and understand all information from meetings and memos.
8. Ensure proper care is taken in a customer’s home when bringing equipment in, assembling and removing products and boxes.
9. Make sure to list serial numbers on delivery forms and fill in serial numbers for customers on any warranty cards.
10. Maintain proficiency and knowledge with our paperwork and filing systems.
11. Make sure all equipment is tested, cleaned and in proper working order before the delivery is completed.
12. Make sure you demonstrate the proper operation of the equipment before the delivery is completed.
13. Always place a Push Pedal Pull sticker on equipment before leaving.
14. List any comments or follow-up action that may be needed on the delivery form. Be sure to collect any monies that are due upon collection.
15. Always drive with extreme care when in a company vehicle, follow all rules and always wear seat belts.
16. Always wear a weight belt when delivering equipment and unloading trucks.
17. Maintain a neat and orderly tool box and safeguard all tools ensuring not to leave them in the vehicles.
18. Wear proper attire when in a customer’s home.
19. Strive to be efficient between deliveries to ensure they can be scheduled properly.
Report to delivery manager about deliveries and personal issues.
Work with sales and service personnel to assure all customers’ needs are satisfied.
Provide regional manager or corporate office with answers to any administrative questions or issues.
Treat all customers and co-workers with respect and honesty at all times.
Good mechanical ability and driving record.
Ability to know what it means to give outstanding customer service.
Ability to have fun and enthusiasm at work.
Believes in teamwork, honesty and dependability.
SPECIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must be willing to work late or weekend hours, if needed.
Provide the highest customer care when difficult situations arise.
To assist sales or service departments with operations when requested.
