London Based Credit Derivative Brokerage House seek Application Support Analyst for the Client On-boarding and Management, FIX API integration, and Application / API support. Discretion, independent judgment and effective communication are required on a daily basis. An excellent opportunity for exposure to a wide range of technologies. You MUST have the ability to analyse a given problem, diagnose it, identify the root cause through investigation and escalate with suggestions to the relevant team to resolve, whilst highlighting possible workarounds to ensure no loss of service. Must be detail oriented and be able to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to assess, analyse and coordinate efforts in response to major application events, such as loss of service/outages. Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate at various levels within the organization and with external parties. Excellent organization, analytical and writing skills. Knowledge of ticketing software and ticketing processes. Ability to establish and document processes, guidelines and policies. YOU MUST understand the basics of the CDS and Fixed Income markets – including trade flow and STP. Manage user base of 600+ users including application and API troubleshooting, application training. Responsible for client on boarding, application installation and API integration for various clients and third party vendors. Static data management and semi automated updates as and when required. Responsible for logging and maintaining detailed tickets of all issues. Responsible for understanding release items, overseeing software releases and monitoring application/API on release day
