FIX Connectivity Consultant (futures) – Investment Banking recruitment
Hatstand are currently looking for an experienced FIX Connectivity Consultant with extensive experience with Futures exchanges (preferably configuring end-to-end connectivity).
The ideal candidate will need to have the following skill set:
- Intermediate knowledge of the FIX protocol for Futures.
- Experience with Futures exchanges
- Intermediate networking: IPs, Ports, multicast, tenet command, routes/server routing table
- Intermediate UNIX tools: grep, vi, shell commands
- Windows Admin tools experience: Management Console, tasks, services, and event viewer.
The ideal candidate should come from a financial markets IT background, and have experience of working within a global team. Any experience of OT, GL TT (i.e. independent software vendors) and scripting skills to parse data (Perl, Shell) would be advantageous.
