FIX CONNECTIVITY INTEGRATION SPECIALIST
The team is responsible for supporting a variety of technologies and data specifications including FIX, XML, Web services along with connectivity support and certification for the Electronic Trading network (brokers, firms, exchanges - buy/sell side), order and execution support with in futures and options team.
Responsibilities/Requirements
- Solid experience ( 3+ years) in a FIX connectivity role - ideally on the sell side, including working on a day to day basis with the business as well as exposure to certifications with buy side clients and vendors
- Strong understanding of FIX protocol. Previous experience of Ullink (UL Bridge) products desirable.
- Good knowledge of the Futures business and the full trading life-cycle.
- Experience in operational support particularly in a front-office environment, involving custom-built and hosted solutions.
- Excellent communication skills along with a strong passion for client service.
- The ability to work effectively in a team
- The ability to work well under pressure to provide timely and accurate solutions to system problems and client issues.
Technical skills required for this role include FIX protocol, Linux/Unix, SQL, Java, Exchange connectivity. Support experience, scripting, development language exposure/use and project management skills. Knowledge of following vendors - UL, PATS, CQG TT.
