FIX Engineer, Java, C#, Messaging, SQL, Equities, Developer recruitment
Our client an Investment Bank based in the city require a FIX Omega Engineer.
The successful candidate will need to have excellent Java and good C# software development skills, a strong background in messaging systems such as FIX and Tibco Rendezvous, and experience of a financial development environment.
The role has responsibility for design, implementation and ongoing development of all technology supporting high frequency / intra-day FIX messaging flows to include DMA and Care for Equities and FX and, where applicable, quantitative strategies. This includes interfacing with various trading engines, high speed messaging and market and broker connectivity.
The candidate will require strong communication skills and the ability to develop quality solutions for the banks trading business.
The successful candidate should have the following skills to apply for this excellent opportunity.
Excellent Java skills
Good C# skills
FIX
General messaging and distributed system experience
RMDS
SQL database experience
Experience of developing real-time messaging systems
Equity and FX knowledge
Basic knowledge of the financial markets
