Role Summary
The FIX Execution Services is responsible for creating, validating and setting up new Services for the clients on the FIX architecture. The expansion of services needs to be done in agreement with Sales, IT and all other groups.
Responsibilities
This position is responsible for the planning and the achieving of new Execution Services on the FIX Architecture.
• Expanding DMA capabilities through system integration, analysis, installation, and deployment
• Working with vendors to increase electronic trading capabilities
• On-boarding new ISVs
• Modify ULLink to meet client needs related to FIX (Java Programming knowledge is appreciated)
• Acting as the bridge between the business, client, infrastructure IT, and Support to build the best service possible for all parties
• Project management for projects related to new trading services
• Document each aspect of a new service in order to have the best support possible done when it will be live
• Test and certify new functions before having them set up in production
• Support the QA process
• Time/Project status reporting
• Adhere to any global processes or procedures set by the global head of the function and work closely with the global team to achieve a standard global solution and process
• Other duties or projects, as assigned
Requirements
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
• At least 3-5 years of electronic trading related experience
• Experience in FIX architecture projects, such as FIX In Connections, routing flow strategies, enrichments and etc.
• Global knowledge on financial exchanges, mainly on listed derivatives and on equities
• General knowledge of the investment industry and knowledge of investment compliance is needed
• Ability to gather and assess user requirements and translate them in a logical and practical set of software components
• Experience in application support, analysis and troubleshooting as well as experience with software testing methodology and user training
• Must have excellent hands on knowledge of FIX 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4
• Equipped with technical skills such as Linux/ Unix, ULLink, GL, PATS, TT, SQL, Java or shell scripting
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a global team environment
• Fluent in communicating in English is essential (Other Asian Language is plus)
