Fixed Income Analyst (Credits)
Responsibilities:
§ Working with fund managers in managing insurance life funds, UTS and segregated accounts
§ Executing bond trades, swaps and structured products
§ Analysis of bond issuers and issues
§ Reviewing and updating existing issuers' ratings
§ Run investment analysis reports
§ Put up monthly reports for funds/market
§ Presentation to consultants and clients as and when required
§ Risk management reporting for some portfolios
§ Involved in committees that address some of the operational and compliance issues from front office’s perspective
§ Other duties as directed by Team leader or Head of Fixed Income
Pre-Requisites:
§ Recognized degree / CFA is preferred
§ 4 to 8 years of experience in credit research/fixed income research or investment management role within banking, brokerage, asset management or fund house working environment
§ Critical thinker who can work in an environment that emphasizes teamwork
§ Passionate about tracking developments in the dynamic and challenging financial markets
§ Able to construct and articulate and recommend a concise investment thesis with conviction
§ Possesses solid financial analysis skills to undertake credit analysis of a company
§ Self-starter and an independent
§ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
