Fixed Income Analyst, SEA Corporate Debt, Tier-1 European Firm

My Client is a global leader within Fixed Income Fund Management, offering a comprehensive range of products giving exposure to markets around the globe. They are currently expanding their Asia team due to an expanding fund size and are keen to hire experienced analysts at the beginning of their career to focus on local market bond products for the Asia Pacific Region. 

Responsibilities
- Contribution to active strategy setting in Pan-Asia Fixed Income Team with specific focus on Asian Corporate Debt
- Develop and enhance macro economic modelling systems to produce trade recommendations for PM's within the team
- Engage in Junior level PM responsibilities with the idea to training into running your own portfolio over the next 1-2 years
- Communicate process and strategy to consultants, clients, internal business development and client relationship colleagues as and when required
- Contribute to development and enhancement of research and investment proces
- Commitment to sound risk management principles and professional reputation 
- Work in a local team on building exposure to the regional markets, liaising with global counterparts to enhance the firms Asian expansion plans

Candidate Requirements
- 4-10 years experience within a Fundamental Credit Research with at least 3 years experience in Asia Pacific markets 
- Well educated, obtaining at least a Bachelor's degree in a Mathematical/Scientific/Quantitative degree from a Globally recognised University
- A high standard of macro economic knowledge of the region, with the ability to develop regional frameworks on market affects within the FI markets
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex research pieces in a clear and concise manner. Candidates with fluency in another Asian language will have an advantage
- Communicate process and strategy to consultants, clients, internal business development and client relationship colleagues as and when required
