Fixed Income Analyst/Collateral Management recruitment
The primary focus of the job is to provide a high quality service to our internal and external customers by ensuring that our training levels, knowledge and understanding of the product offering is uniformly high standard. Attention to detail and timely action is critical to ensure any risk is captured and reported. Also vital is a good understanding of the wide-ranging impact of a collateral shortfall in a Credit and CIFS context.
Key responsibilities:
- Collateral transactions are diverted to various collateral release queues on both SECORE RBCS. This position entails a formal checking process of these transactions that includes, checking of cash, acceptability of security, and net collateral position of client.
- Daily generation of Net Position report for Financial Control
- Collateral reporting for Basel II.
- Liaise with Product Management and Financial Control re collateral position in relation to CEP balance sheet.
- Liaising with Insurance Letter of credit clients in relation to collateral positions / collateral calls.
- Display good understanding of Trade payments and principals of security holdings and movements.
- Display good understanding of Cash payments and DOL impacts.
- Adhere to Treasury guidelines
- Report and resolve collateral shortfalls by way of regular interfaces with Senior Management and RM community.
- Daily valuation and pricing of all 3rd Party portfolios.
- Preparation of KPI MIS
- Preparation and explanation of Exception report to Senior Credit Officers.
- Seek and Implement process improvements
- Participate in Weekly/QCM team meetings.
- Ensure IDS is kept up to date
- Ensure that all-internal and external compliance/audit regulations controls and floor standard are met.
- Provide service and interact with colleagues in line with Citibank values and policies.
- Attend conference calls
- Participate in dept projects / initiatives
- Participate in UAT
- Assist Management team in meeting targets set
- Ensure that all procedures and process maps are kept up to date

Knowledge/ experience:
- Good understanding of securities holdings and trading.
- Good understanding of cash processing.
- Good understanding of Insurance Letters of Credit product offerings
- High Awareness of Risk and Risk Mitigation.
- Good level of computer literacy and ability to work with multiple computer systems to an intermediate level.
