FIXED INCOME ANALYST/TRADER: Securitized Products
The ideal candidate should possess 3-7 years of experience in some or all of the following sectors: Agency MBS, Agency CMOs, CMBS, Consumer ABS, and Non Agency RMBS. The position requires a self-motivated, enthusiastic, organized, and flexible individual.
Strong knowledge of securitized markets, security structures, and analytic methods is required along with strong technology skills. CFA or MBA preferred.
Individual will work closely with the sector PM to implement the investment strategy. Primary responsibilities include: monitoring market conditions and collecting market information by maintaining a dialogue with dealers, reviewing and recommending investments, assisting with strategy development within the securitized sector, ongoing credit surveillance, monthly portfolio valuation, and executing and allocating trades across separate accounts with diverse strategies and guidelines. Secondary responsibilities include interacting with settlements and reporting groups and contributing to risk management, portfolio analytics, client service, and marketing efforts.
