Fixed Income Asset allocation economist

A leading investment management firm are currently looking to add an economist to their fixed Income asset allocation group in a role which will see you as the main point of contact for the clients. You will therefore be required to demonstrate excellent client facing skills and the ability to frequently roll out tailored solutions for clients.

 

In order to apply for the role you must have:-

-       In depth knowledge of Interest rate/bond markets
-       Understanding of fixed income markets/asset allocation strategies 
-       Be a minimum of associate/VP level. 

Your responsibilities will include:- 

-       Investment research for clients
-       Design of benchmark and customised strategies
-       Development of strategies based on wide range of fixed income instruments including
:-      conventional, inflation-linked, convertibles and derivative instruments. 

-       Designing and publishing weekly reports to clients and maintaining portfolios of bond                                     indices (Investment Grade, High Yield, and Emerging Markets Indices) 
-       Commentary on bond market movements

This is a fully client facing position in which you will also be involved in Fixed income/Bond committee meetings. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a portfolio strategist, investment strategist/economist, central banking economist or asset allocation economist.
