Fixed Income Assistant
Key Features of the Role
• Undertake analytical research on issuers, focusing on companies operating in Asia.
• Assist Fixed Income analysts to ensure that daily/ad-hoc publications and research on covered issuers are published on a timely basis.
• Handle requests from relationship managers and investment advisors.
Skills Requirements of the Role
A. Personal and Social
• Must be a strong team player and possess excellent inter-personal skills, with an ability to integrate quickly into an established team and communicate closely with team members.
• The candidate will be expected to show initiative, be highly independent in his work and have a highly pleasant disposition.
• Possess strong communication skills
B. Professional and Technical
• Looking for an assistant with at least 1 year working experience in a similar capacity, preferably in audit, fund house or large international bank, and preferably with CFA or CPA qualifications. Preferably having passed at least level 1, CFA.
• The candidate should have strong credit analytical skills and good written (English) skills.
• Only candidates with accounting or finance qualifications will be considered.
C. Regulatory Requirement (if applicable)
• All necessary qualifications as required by MAS.
