Fixed Income Clerk recruitment

PURPOSE

• To process, settle, fund and reconcile Euroclear Fixed Income Operations trades and Tri-parties for RBC Europe Limited and RBC London Branch, in a cost effective and efficient manner.

• Aligned to Global Operations from a functional perspective, and aligned to Capital Markets FIC from a regional service provision perspective

 PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To ensure that  current procedure and workflows are adhered to at all times

• To ensure trades are settled and funded on a timely basis

• To process and settle Tri-party transactions

• To process and settle New issue trades

• Take overall responsibility for overall specific areas assigned to you

• Ensure timely reporting of  KPI’s and KRI’s, ensure issues are escalated appropriately within the function

            AUTHORITIES, IMPACT, RISK

• Although the Assignee has no designated authorities in terms of budgets and write offs, there can be loss potential within the team’s function, which they should be aware of. Any potential loss or budget query should be raised with the Supervisor of Domestic Operations.

• The Assignee should uphold the reputation of the Royal Bank Financial Group and Fixed Income Operations at all times.

 JOB SPECIFICATIONS

• The Assignee must have significant recent Fixed Income Operations experience of Euroclear and Tri-party within a high volume house.

• Knowledge should include processing of Euroclear Fixed Income trades, new issues and their related funding and reconciliations.

• Knowledge of EUCLID PC and Swift is also required.

Communication skills are needed at all levels, both on an internal and client facing basis.
