Fixed Income Credit Sales Specialist
This opportunity is a key, strategic position, the right individual will have extensive Credit and Credit Derivatives product knowledge and be able to leverage their product sales experience to boost the specialist sales effort for the company across the UK and European client base. As well as an in-depth product knowledge, the role of a specialist sales person requires excellent client liaison skills, as the successful candidate will work closely with the Product Management and Generalist / Regional Sales Team to drive the Credit product agenda, maximising all opportunities for growth and increased market share. Strong interpersonal skills are a necessity along with a tenacious and results-oriented approach. To be successful, the right individual will also need to develop an in-depth understanding of our customers’ requirements along with the Credit product development strategy; sharing and leveraging information to maximum advantage. Experience with electronic trading solutions is also preferable..
Main Responsibilities include:
- Work closely with the Head of the Specialist Sales Team to develop and execute the sales strategy, partnering with the Regional Sales Teams to leverage opportunity and drive the Credit agenda;
- Contribute to the development of the Credit / CDS product strategy, working closely with the Specialist Product Management team to understand the key drivers as well as sharing information and ensuring a close alignment with the sales teams’ focus;
- Build and develop key relationships both internally and with the European buy-side customer base, establishing yourself as a ‘go to’ person for Credit enquiries and specialist information; educate others and provide presentations / demonstrations as necessary; as a mar
- Help cement our position as a market leader within the Credit / CDS trading markets, keeping up to date with market developments and competitor intelligence to maintain competitive advantage.
