Responsibilities:
FICC operates in most major trading markets and emerging markets around the world. In response to the ongoing growth of our successful businesses, we’re looking for a quantitative analyst to join our Singapore quant team. In this dynamic, business facing role, you’ll be working directly with the trading staff providing valuable modelling and valuation services across the spectrum of our product coverage.
On a day to day basis, you’ll be
- Developing models for derivative valuation;
- Providing support on quantitative areas to traders, marketers and the IT team;
- Delivering support for the Model approval process.
Requirements:
A strong communicator, with a demonstrated ability to work in a team based environment, you’ll ideally have some previous work experience or exposure to a corporate or banking role. You’ll have a pragmatic approach to problem solving, that will see you providing innovative solutions to your clients.
To succeed in this role, you will:
- Hold a PhD in a mathematics, physics, statistics, or a quantitative field;
- Must have experience with Fixed income products, with a focus on interest rates
- Have an in depth understanding of the principles of derivative valuation in financial markets;
- Have proven experience in C++ and object oriented development;
- Be confident working in Excel, VBA and in all development environments;
- Demonstrate your ability to work within a team environment, whilst taking ownership for projects;
