Fixed Income Electronic Market Making Quant Trader
JOB DESCRIPTION-
A fixed income electronic market making quant trader position is immediately available at tier 1 investment bank as they seek to expand and develop their electronic market making capabilities.
The successful candidate will come from a strong electronic market making background with a proven ability to generate money. This is a senior role at Top Tier Investment Bank, who requires an algorithmic trader for its New York office to monitor and improve current fixed income market making strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Adjust existing pricing and auto-hedging strategies for fixed income, across interest rates, government bonds and/or corporate bonds.
- Develop and build out further fixed income Market Making capabilities
- Work with large datasets to run statistical analysis and simulations of trading strategies;
- Adjust strategies to changes in market microstructure at supported exchanges;
Job Requirements
- Extensive experience with statistical models and optimization;
- Proficient with high-performance and large dataset computing environments;
- Self-directed; must be able to manage yourself and others effectively;
- Direct and relevant electronic market making experience within fixed income, rates, government bonds and/or corporate bonds.
- Advance Graduate Degree in quantitative discipline. PhD advantageous
In Summary – We require a Quant Analyst / Electronic Market Maker to maintain develop and implement new and existing strategies and models. Required for this is experience in statistical models and optimization and /C++, Perl and Linux with ideally a PhD.
