Fixed Income, Equities, FX or Commodities Product/Sales Manager

You will join a highly motivated and growing team based in Johannesburg and be responsible for representing products to potential and existing clients on both the buyside and sellside across South Africa.

With a consultative approach, you will identify clients' needs and demonstrate how solutions will help them make the best investment/trading decisions, by making there day to day business smoother and more profitable. The individual will work with and liaise with other teams and departments to help reach this goal. You will also be expected to get involved in product enhancement with progression into the Product Development Team.

Responsibilities:

- Prospecting potential and existing clients to promote the solutions within South Africa to both the buyside and sellside

- Manage existing relationships and drive new business development

- Stay informed about the financial markets in order to spot trends, look for new opportunities and establish credibility with clients by understanding their business as well as particpate in product enhancement.

Requirements

- You must have experience working with to the buyside or sellside institutional/corporate market in South Africa

- Proven consultative sales in South Africa - proven ability to build and maintain solid client relationships

- Solid client relationship experience and networks within the South African market

- Knowledge of the local South African financial market (fx/fixed income/equities)

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Confident, team player, client focused

- Excellent contacts within the financial markets
