My client is a trusted leader in the provision of financial information designed to meet the needs of the front, middle and back offices at some of the largest and most well-known institutions around the world. They are looking for an experienced fixed income specialist to manage their FI Evaluations team.
Job Description
Reporting to the Fixed Income Manager (Asia Pacific), this role will provide leadership to the Fixed Income Evaluations Team, both in Melbourne and regionally in Asia Pacific. Your team will be responsible for the in-depth evaluation of fixed income securities using effectively maintained and enhanced proprietary models. Whilst Monitoring news and market conditions, you will build trusted professional relationships with market participants and clients ensuring that their needs and queries are effectively answered. You will pro-actively identify potential risks and improvements to the evaluations process and you will provide strong leadership to your 5-6 member team through effective ongoing coaching and mentoring.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will be an Fixed Income specialist with numerous years experience in a similar role. You will also:
- Possess tertiary qualifications in a relevant degree
- Demonstrate superior management skills through previous leadership roles
- Have advanced communication and stakeholder management skills
- Business English – relevant Asian language an advantage
