Fixed Income Operational Control recruitment
Our client, a leading International Investment Bank, is looking to recruit a Fixed Income Operational Control professional to join their cross product control team. The successful candidate will cover all the Operational service functions for all Fixed Income related products including Government and Corporate Bonds, Eurobonds, Mortgage Backed Securities and Equity Linked Bonds and will be expected to develop front to back control reporting and oversight functions that support the Fixed Income business. In addition the role will require interaction with the relevant regulatory requirements groups internally to meet reporting demands as well as assist in the re-engineering of the current control processes in place by suggesting improvements throughout the process.
Responsibilities include:
Co-ordination and consolidation of control reporting metrics for the Fixed Income UK business and oversight of the global control team for Fixed Income.
Development of communication channels for obtaining control information across Operations and Finance owned teams.
Reporting of control related information to Finance, Business Management, Operations Management, Operational Risk Management, quarterly SOX reviews, weekly control meetings and others as
required.
Monitoring, testing and review of key internal controls performed by Operations, including effective liaison with existing Operational Control Teams.
Proposal of control environment changes to enhance existing structures and to remediate identified deficiencies.
Testing of the fixed income environment as part of user acceptance tests.
Regulatory reporting and coordinating with the Operations regulatory reporting group to meet reporting requirements.
