FIXED INCOME PORTFOLIO MANAGER MENA / EMERGING MARKETS recruitment
This role is for a new fixed income fund MENA - You will be leading the development of this portfolio and be the face. Candidates must have managed their own FI fund in regard to institutional/Pension AUM's - this is not a prop position so we are not looking for candidates with a prop background or Private Banking.
Job Description
- Conduct in-depth analysis on fixed income securities from a universe of securities in Middle East, Africa, and select International markets.
- Portfolio construction and day-to-day management of fixed income portfolios and funds with a focus on the Middle East Africa.
- Ensure that portfolios are within risk tolerance constraints, complying with client/fund guidelines and restrictions.
- Carryout other duties as directed by senior management.
Key Requirements
- Experience in managing Fixed Income portfolios, ideally in Emerging Markets.
- Strong background in Fixed Income research/credit analysis.
- Experience in the Middle East and Africa region is a plus
- Understanding of Islamic Fixed Income products and Shariah compliant Fixed Income (ie Sukuk) investment experience is preferred.
- BA/BS required. MBA or progress towards CFA is a plus.
