Fixed Income Product Control (VP) recruitment
Reporting to the CFO, the individual will head up a growing team of two at an organisation that has continued to grow its AUM despite the previous downturn in the market.
This is a high profile position and you will work closely to the Head Traders, CRO, CFO and board level individuals within the company. You would look to play a key role in helping to drive the growth and continued success of the organisation.
It is very important that you are from a strong Derivatives bavkground, Product Control background as you will be expected to challenge the Traders on strategic issues. In addition, you (and your team) will be the main point of contact for new product approvals, model validation and independent verification of derivative valuations. The candidate should also expect to be a key player in upcoming development projects.
The candidate will benefit from working in an unstructured environment, that is very relaxed and in which you will benefit from an excellent work life balance (1800/1830pm finish).
A major attraction has to be the variety of progression opportunities. You will be expected to prove yourself over an 18-month period within this role before progressing into a more senior role, with the FD position being a likely opportunity.
We are looking for strong Product Controllers, ideally VP's but they would consider solid AVP's that want a 'step up'. In order to fill the role, the client can offer a large base salary and you should expect a 2012 bonus in excess of 50%.
