Fixed Income Product Controller recruitment
This position is with an international banking giant that has enjoyed considerable growth in the past decade and has been praised for its stability and management in difficult times. This role will report to the Head of Fixed Income Product Control and take responsibility for the control of products that include bonds, FRNs, swaps and others. You will supervise one member of staff and take a lead in profit and loss production and analysis; balance sheet maintenance that includes attribution; and the resolution of ad hoc queries from the trading desks. The office is the Asia-Pac centre for the bank, although it retains a boutique feel, and there will be ample opportunity to forge strong relationships with a wide variety of business areas that include: Trading, Risk, Valuations, Sales, Tax and the rest of Finance. To be considered for the role it is essential that you are an experienced product controller who, ideally, has derivatives experience. An accounting qualification (CA/CPA)will be highly prized and it is essential that you enjoy working in a high-octane environment and relish facing-off to senior members of staff. The position offers an excellent insight into how a banking giant derives its trading revenues and it will offer diversity and career progression into a number of different areas, both locally and internationally.
