Fixed Income Product Specialist – Private Banking recruitment
J.P. Morgan Private Bank is looking for a Fixed Income specialist to join our Solutions group with particular focus on India and SEA markets. The role is to be based out of Hong Kong.
The Fixed Income desk a) develops market views; b) investigates and determines the best execution vehicles to express market views, both tactical and long-term; c) markets investment ideas; and d) executes trades. The team is heavily immersed in the market and the role allows for a rather unique hybrid of both buy-side and sell-side aspects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- To distribute structured Fixed Income products to J.P. Morgan Private Bank Sales Force (Bankers and Investment Advisors) and our Clients (private investors) via proactive product sourcing and allocation
- To provide best execution and dealing to meet Clients needs and achieve revenue target. This includes strengthening business relationship with major trading counterparties and positioning ourselves as a preferred trading partner
- To grow business by leading idea generation, internal education, product pitching and product development
- Provide advice and research on structured Fixed Income products as requested by sales force or Clients.
Skills
- Mandatory to have at least 7 to 10 years extensive experience as Fixed Income Sales in an Investment Bank or Fixed Income product specialist in a major Private Bank with exposure to India and SEA market
- Possess advanced structured Fixed Income product knowledge as well as technical skills
- Proactive, initiative, self confident with high energy level
- Work as part of the wider Solutions team with good interpersonal skills
- Fluency in Cantonese and/ or Mandarin preferred.
