Fixed Income Sales
Candidates are required to have a minimum of 4yrs experience within a fixed income sales environment.
My client is a leading UK company who are looking to hire somebody as soon as possible. The chosen candidate will be working directly with the Head of Fixed Income to develop the UK strategy, onboard new clients, and develop the business further.
Responsibilities:
- The focus of this position is to work alongside the Head of Fixed Income in order to identify new opportunities, execute and extend sales strategies, and contribute to the UK strategy.
- This role is a key hire and the chosen candidate will work directly alongside the Head of Fixed Income to develop and implement sales strategy.
- Develop key client relationships with external institutional / retail clients based in both the UK and Europe
- Support customer activity, respond to customer queries
- Business development – by gaining an in-depth understanding of customer requirements
Key skills:
- The chosen sales person will have a very good knowledge generally of fixed income specialist products and other asset classes generally ( Bonds; Debt Primary Markets; ETFs ETPs; Covered Warrants Structured Products ).
- A few years of experience in a client facing or sales role and therefore competency dealing with institutional / retail clients in terms of presenting and selling
- 4+ years experience in the financial markets which will have resulted in:
- A very good knowledge generally of the above products listed AND
- Confidence dealing with retail / institutional clients
- A genuine interest in the financial markets, being kept up to date with etc
- Excellent oral, written, and presenting skills tailored to their customers’ needs
- Driven, ambitious, enthusiastic
