Fixed Income Sales (Electronic Trading House) – London – £25k-£30k
Our client is one of the leading names in Electronic Trading. Its platforms are used daily by a wide variety of counterparties including Banks, Asset Managers, Hedge Funds and Central Banks.
I am working with the Head of Fixed Income Sales to find an individual with a genuine passion for Fixed Income who would be interested in a sales position.
After extensive training you are eventually given a global area of responsibility where your job in a nutshell will be to onboard new client’s aswell as manage existing relationships in these regions, and increase the share of electronic trading for the firm.
Key Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications Experience:
- Fluency in English and one additional language, in particular German or French, Spanish, Dutch or Swedish is REQUIRED
- Genuine interest in Fixed Income (someone who follows the market)
- Degree qualified in a financial discipline (Cass Business School desirable)
- Understanding of macro-economic fundamentals desirable
- Excel to macro level
- PowerPoint
- Proven ability to take initiative think on your feet
- Self motivated with lots of energy
- Good written skills (you will give market commentary on an ad-hoc basis)
- Good communications skills as your typical interaction will be with heads of Trading/eBusiness
You might already have spent a couple of years in a Fixed Income sales position at a vendor or bank, or perhaps you are an Account Manager or Client Service rep in the Fixed Income space and eager for a step into sales.
