Position Description:
The FID Sales Reporting team is looking for a candidate to support Sales Management within the Fixed Income Division. The candidate will be tasked with managing the client revenue reporting team, which provides client analytics to Sales, Trading and Finance divisions. The manager also oversees the daily/weekly/monthly controls around client revenues. The optimal candidate will be an analytical, self-motivated individual with 5-10 years of financial experience.
Responsibilities include:
•Reporting of client revenue metrics to Senior Management across divisions.
•Presentation of weekly client revenues to Finance Senior Mgmt.
•Coordination with global counterparts.
•Daily interaction with the Trading, Sales, Operations and IT.
•Process reengineering to improve efficiencies.
•Ad hoc requests from the BU and other internal clients.
•Participation in Finance-wide initiatives, which includes incorporating client revenues side-by-side with trading revenues and cross divisional metrics.
Skills Required:
- Accounting, economics or finance degree.
- Previous finance and/or management reporting experience.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Personal qualities:
•Analytical and able to produce value added metrics from detailed sets of data.
•Ability to think critically, challenge accepted processes and suggest alternative solutions.
•Self-motivated with a desire to succeed and develop professionally.
Skills Desired:
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence Tools (Business Objects XIR2, Crystal Reports etc.) to design and present reports and perform analysis is preferred.
