Fixed Income Settlements Analysts

You'll be part of a global department with teams across the UK, India and Singapore, managing settlements for fixed income products. These roles are based in Manchester.

As a Fixed Income Settlements Analyst, you will be part of a team reporting to a local supervisor looking at prematching, fails management and post settlement control exceptions for European markets across EUROCLEAR and domestic depositories. You'll be responsible for the timely and efficient settlement of repurchase agreements (repos), cash bond and collateral trading. You will maintain constant communication with traders, clients and agents to ensure a required position is met in the market. Additionally, you'll capture and ensure risk is mitigated through deposit, cash and finance reconciliations. And you will keep a sound knowledge of the escalation process to ensure required stakeholders are aware and aided in the resolution to any issues.

To succeed as a Fixed Income Settlement Analyst, you'll need to have experience of fixed income cash, repo, buy sell back, sell buy back, ABS, MBS, money market, collateral, triparty and structured products knowledge, particularly knowledge of the EUROCLEAR settlement system. It's also important that you've negotiation, influencing and project management skills. And the ability to operate in a dynamic and fast paced change environment. Knowledge of another European language is also desirable.
