The Position
We are currently seeking a Fixed Income Syndicate Trader. The position will be based in our Boston office, report to the Manager of US Fixed Income Trading and be primarily focused on the handling of the public new issue process for Investment Grade, High Yield, and Bank Loan deals. The position will be the first point of contact for all pre-soundings within the Fixed Income complex.

Responsibilities
•Managing the flow of information and orders associated with all public Investment Grade, High Yield and Bank Loan sectors.
•Gathering and disseminating market and sector information to appropriate Investment personnel;
•Performing market and security relative value analysis;
•Developing a thorough understanding of the credit needs of the Portfolio Manager teams to assist in the generation of reverse inquiry ideas.
•Studying the marketplace for tactical opportunities and generating trading ideas consistent with investment strategies.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess:
•A minimum of 2-5+ years of Capital Market or Investment Banking experience;
•Strong quantitative, analytical and technology skills;
•Undergraduate degree is required with progress or completion towards a post graduate degree and/or CFA a plus;
•Strong interpersonal skills;
•Strong organizational skills;
•Ability to be accurate under tight time constraints in a high-pressure environment;
•Ability to work in a team environment.
