Fixed income US Market strategist – VP/Director– USA recruitment
The group are looking for a senior US Economist/strategist to take a lead position in the FX/Rates research.
You will be solely responsible for the G10 FX/Rates effort out of New York and should be able and prepared to grow this function and make additions to the team.
Key responsibilities include:-
- Presenting macroeconomic and financial market research to the global team
- Presenting interest rate and currency strategy from the global economics and research teams.
- Producing periodic research papers on topical issues.
- Contributing to global publications utilizing your experience in the US market.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Economist/strategist to work on a fast paced trading floor and be given the opportunity to express your ideas and views to a large scale audience.
In order to apply for the role you must:-
Currently be working as an Economist/strategist covering the US market
Be a minimum of VP/Director level
Have in depth knowledge of US rates/FX and be able to demonstrate recent publications in this area.
Currently be based in the USA or be a green card holder
The hiring manager is insistent that candidates have experience within the US currency and interest rate markets.
Interviews are taking place currently with a hire planned for beginning of Q1 at the latest.
