Fleet Mechanic Job in Cinnaminson 08077, New Jersey US
Job Purpose:
Maintains construction vehicle fleet of light duty trucks and medium duty construction machinery by inspecting vehicles; repairing and replacing parts.
Duties:
* Prepares vehicles by installing modifications; completing inspections
* Completes preventive maintenance program by inspecting and servicing vehicles; conducting performance tests; changing usable components.
* Repairs vehicles by interviewing drivers; diagnosing problem; testing functions using test equipment; repairing or replacing parts using hand tools and equipment.
* Maintains vehicle records by completing forms.
* Maintains safe vehicle operation by passing state inspections; following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
* Work perform in company shop and in the field on job sites throughout Southern/Central NJ and Eastern PA. Company vehicle provided for travel.
*Coordinating, ordering, and scheduling of parts as necessary with established vendors.
* Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
