No Security Clearance Required about security clearance definitions Position Description Performs real time aircraft system, aircraft component, and aircraft operational data surveillance for multiple airline customers and multiple aircraft models. Assesses and evaluates airline operational performance against contract requirements and takes necessary action to address performance deficiencies. Collects and analyzes component and airplane systems reliability data to identify adverse trends and performs root cause analysis. Determines corrective actions, performs cost-benefit analysis and develops recommendations. Initiates action to implement performance improvements and verifies implementation of corrective action. Develops customer-specific reliability documentation and evaluates recommendation for regulatory and operational/component compliance. Anticipates fleet performance issues across a broad spectrum of operational environments. Monitors changes in industry practice and government regulation and anticipates impact to current practices and initiates action. Technical + Aircraft Maintenance Basic - Extensive and specialized knowledge of customer aircraft maintenance processes, policies, culture, and standard practices (e.g., return to service, normal duties/responsibilities, time constraints, available resources) in order to effectively represent the customer within the company. Preferred - Advanced/expert knowledge of customer aircraft maintenance processes, policies, culture, and standard practices (e.g., return to service, normal duties/responsibilities, time constraints, available resources) in order to effectively represent the customer within the company. + Aircraft Systems Basic - Extensive, specialized knowledge and understanding of more than one systems and extensive knowledge of multiple system: electrical system installations and advanced understanding of avionics systems and trouble shooting, mechanical system installations, operations and troubleshooting, structural installations and extensive understanding of structural assembly repairs. Subject matter expert in one or more of the above systems. Preferred - Advanced, expert knowledge and understanding of more than one systems and extensive knowledge of multiple system: electrical system installations and advanced understanding of avionics systems and trouble shooting, mechanical system installations, operations and troubleshooting, structural installations and extensive understanding of structural assembly repairs. Subject matter expert in one or more of the above systems. + Aviation Industry Basic - Extensive and specialized knowledge of aviation industry (e.g., knowledge of customer, regulatory agency, industry, and company policies). Basic Qualifications For Consideration Have you worked in the Reliability department within the Maintenance and Engineering division of a commercial airline? Typical Education/Experience Level 4 - AA degree in related discipline and typically 6 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level 5 - AA degree in related discipline and typically 9 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Other Job related information The successful candidate must be a self-starter capable of managing technical operations projects in a very dynamic and challenging new business environment of Fleet Management. Primary assignments include activities that require an extensive knowledge of the commercial airline maintenance and engineering business.
