No Security Clearance Required about security clearance definitions Position Description Lead a cross-functional team that delivers 787 aircraft hardware to support the build of customer flight simulators, employing a process that partners internal and contracted organizations. Analyze customer requirements to identify the exact hardware requirements. Manage Purchase Requisition development and verify accurate translation into Purchase Orders. Track Supplier commitments against actual Supplier performance and customer requirements. Confirm actual receipt of hardware components at warehouse, and subsequent kitting and shipping to the Training Device Manufacturer (TDM). Work with TDMs to support partial shipments, workarounds, and scheduling issues. You will have personal accountability to assure that all required Boeing and Regulatory Processes are followed in the handling of aircraft parts. As project manager, develop and sustain productive customer relationships. Establish customers and their needs as the primary focus of actions. Must have or be willing to gain specialized knowledge of simulator build process elements (e.g., manufacturing testing, approval) and related aircraft hardware and/or data to understand customers circumstances, problems, expectations to position yourself and the team to be able to respond quickly to meet customer needs and resolve problems. Develop project status and performance metrics to determine and implement appropriate process improvements Establish and maintain good interpersonal and effective working relationships with and among team members, Supplier Management, Suppliers, Warehouse personnel, Training Device Manufacturers, and airlines. Consistently put new complex/specialized knowledge, understanding, or skill to practical use on the job; analyze the organization, potential external partners, and own area to identify key relationships and strategies that should be initiated or improved to further the attainment of own area's goals. Must have experience in creating comprehensive multi-tiered project schedules, taking into consideration how project level actions or plans will affect customer programs.
