The flights consultant will be responsible for providing a high level of service to customers based throughout the world through the provision of expert advice and support with regards to flight itineraries. As flights consultant duties will include the provision of accurate quotations, building of your air fares knowledge, updating in house systems with sales information, handling general flight enquiries and problem solving any issues which may arise. A proactive approach is also required, whereby you will be able to provide suggestions to Managers on how services can be improved.
The successful flights consultant must have significant experience working within the travel industry, ideally within a role where they have been using GDS to obtain travel information. You must be a strong relationship builder, possess excellent communication skills and a high attention to detail.
