The Role:
Working within a small team, to handle Sea Freight Export to a varied client base internationally
Providing excellent level of customer service to customers worldwide: Europe, Africa, Middle East, India, Far East
Following up orders, shipments, delivery schedule, etc.
Liasing with suppliers worldwide
Negotiating rates and transport schedules, organising export paperwork documentation
Flexible keen to take on new tasks responsibilities in the office
The Candidate:
Good knowledge of French language
Fluent in English
PC literate in MS office applications, excellent administrative skills
Knowledge of sea freight documentation, paperwork, incoterms, etc.
ESSENTIAL: Previous experience in shipping administration, sea freight logistics or relevant work in an export office - excellent knowledge and practice of shipping documentation such as bill of lading, certificate of origin, etc.
Good communication and decision making skills
Lots of initiative and common sense
