Fluent German Speaking Energy Software Consultants – x-train into Energy Trading Software recruitment
My client’s ETRM software solutions support some of the largest energy and trading companies worldwide, encompassing all energy commodities. The successful Energy Trading Risk Management Software Consultants / Senior Consultants will work as team members or as individual Consultants on product implementation with their customers in the energy industry.
Challenges of the position include:
- Works as a member of a team on product implementation enhancement, and/or integration projects for clients to convert, configure, validate, and support on site, as needed.
- Design and develop interfaces between my client and existing business systems.
- Provide training on the application.
- Business process research, presentation and communication of project objectives and recommended solutions.
- Perform issue resolution, analysis and trouble shooting.
- Participate in the extension, design, and validation of test cases.
- Continuously review user documentation process documentation and improve software expertise.
- Communication with support, quality assurance and development; issue entry and tracking, help desk communication.
Qualifications for consideration:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science/Engineering or closely related field
- Fluency in German and English is essential
- Significant commercial experience in database administration and design, SQL, and/or Crystal Report writing
- Excellent proven problem solving skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Dynamic presentation skills and the ability to train others
- Extensive knowledge of Windows 2000/ XP, MS Windows products, Crystal Reports, and SQL
- Flexible on UK and European travel
- Energy Trading industry knowledge is highly desirable but previous energy sector experience is essential
