FoF Analyst
This is a 2 year term role based in SG where you will get a chance to partake in both primary and secondary FOF deal work within SEA and China.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior analyst with about 1-2 (max) years of corporate finance experience wishing to know more by doing. This person will have the responsibility to assist primary and secondary partnership team investment professionals in investigating and monitoring investment opportunities. Specifically, the individual will be involved with and responsible for:
- Participate on deal teams
- Perform quantitative analysis including portfolio valuation, comparable company analysis, value driver analysis and performance attribution analysis
- Perform industry/ sector analysis
- Assist in preparation of investment memorandum
- Perform private equity portfolio valuations and transaction modeling
- Conduct market and company research
- Participate in due diligence calls with sellers GPs
- Assist in all aspects of the transaction, including deal selection, pricing analysis, negotiation and execution
- Assist in all transaction documentation and presentations to investment committee
- Manage deal log and related documentation
- Conduct market research
- Develop and maintain proprietary deal and market intelligence
- Perform deal monitoring analysis
- Participation in identification of deal sourcing targets
- Perform other ad hoc projects
We seek an individual who is self-disciplined, demonstrates creative thinking and has the following characteristics:
- Graduated from a top-tier undergraduate university
- Ideally 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a top tier investment banking, private equity or financial consulting organization is required
- Proven analytical, modeling, organizational and writing skills required
- Strong communication skills-both written and verbally
- Mandarin is a MUST because of the coverage for China for this position
- A highly-motivated, self-starter with the ability work independently within a team context
- This is expected to be a 2 year term position based in Singapore after which both parties will come to the table to review the situation
The position pays a basic salary and annual bonus and you will be eligible for all staff benefits (relocation to Singapore not anticipated).
