FoF Associate, Global PE firm (2year term) recruitment
Due to expansion and a focus in Asia, our client is inviting applications for this Associate position for their Singapore office. This is a 2-3 year term role, following which both parties will review the next steps collectively.
This person will have the responsibility to assist primary and secondary partnership team investment professionals in investigating and monitoring investment opportunities. Specifically, the individual will be involved with and responsible for:
Assist in assessing primary investment opportunities
- Perform quantitative analysis including portfolio valuation, comparable company analysis, value driver analysis and performance attribution analysis
- Perform industry/ sector analysis
- Assist in preparation of investment memorandum
Provide transactional support for the secondary team
- Perform private equity portfolio valuations and transaction modeling
- Conduct market and company research
- Participate in due diligence calls with sellers GPs
- Assist in all aspects of the transaction, including deal selection, pricing analysis, negotiation and execution
- Assist in all transaction documentation and presentations to investment committee
Assist in projects for the partnership team
- Manage deal log and related documentation
- Conduct market research
- Develop and maintain proprietary deal and market intelligence
- Perform deal monitoring analysis
- Participation in identification of deal sourcing targets
The ideal candidate should have the following qualities
- Graduated from a top-tier undergraduate university
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a top tier investment banking, private equity or financial consulting organization is required
- Proven analytical, modeling, organizational and writing skills required
- Strong communication skills-both written and verbally (Mandarin English fluency)
- A highly-motivated, self-starter with the ability work independently within a team context
