Kelly Scientific Resources is seeking a Food Laboratory Technician in Northern, NJ. The Food Laboratory Technician will be responsible for the following: Order ingredients for trials or bench-top studies using materials ordering system Enter product into Shelf Life system Coordinate shelf life studies and schedule reviews. Prepare and ship samples as needed and supply tracking information. Aid Product Developers with bench-top sample preparation. Utilize various pieces of lab equipment to quantify product attributes and report findings to the Product Developer. Enter test data into Excel or other database systems. Prepare lab area for product reviews Assist with pilot plant trials as needed and evaluate the product in lab. Skill Set: Degree in Food Science or related field preferred with some 1+ years experience in industry. Strong computer-based skills in Microsoft Word and Excel Good interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail Ability to learn Kraft internal computer systems, such as SmartKart, and WINLMS.
