Patients are at the heart of everything we do. As the Food Production Manager for Allina United Hospital, a blue chip Sodexo account with programs such as At Your Request and Fresh Inspirations. You will be in charge of leading all food production for one of the largest hospital's in the Twin Cities providing a full range of health care and recognized nationally for its expertise and care. You will oversee food production for three retail businesses, two AYR lines including one at the neighboring Children's Hospital, as well as a Doctor's lounge. This location is one of our most stable and prestigious accounts. A highly skilled management team is in place to support your growth with Sodexo. Success will be measure by your ability to: - Ensure that all food and safety standards are met - Schedule and manage labor to budget - Improve performance of kitchen staff The ideal candidate has experience within Sodexo's healthcare and has worked in an employee centric union environment. He or she is a team player with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, has a background in food production, and is able to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Position Summary : Plans, directs and coordinates the activities of food production employees. Responsible for the purchasing and receiving of food and supplies, as well as monitoring the inventory. Maintains food production records/cost indicators. Plans and costs menus. Qualifications Requirements: Basic Education Requirement - Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree Basic Management Experience - 1 year Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
