Food Production Operator Job in Cranbury 08540, New Jersey Us
Responsible to ensure safe, sanitary, and accurate mixing/compounding/processing of formulas as instructed by information on shop floors. Help out as needed in other areas of the plant.
1. Follow all GMP and Safety policies. Includes safe and accurate handling of Hazardous chemicals.
2. Operate mixers, blenders, reactor, and spray drier as needed.
3. Gather materials in fill quantities as instructed by shop floor. Process as per the instruction on shop floor.
4. Accurately record the amounts of material used and from what location using Radio Frequency (RF) equipment so as to correctly track inventory in the warehouse.
5. Keep inventory sealed and clean so as not to become contaminated.
6. Complete the schedule as laid out and report any deficiencies to the supervisor as needed.
7. Keep work place clean and organized.
Education/Experience/Skills: (list minimum requirements):
At least 1 years experience in food related plant operations.
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
Basic math skills.
Ability to work independently and multi task.
Ability to speak and understand Spanish preferred.
Equipment Operation:
Capable of operating a forklift
RF Gun
Computer: BPCS system
Capable of operating gram, kilo, and pound scales.
Physical Demands:
Capable of lifting 50 lbs and ability to handle up to 400 lbs with use of forklifts or jacks.
Ability to deal with constant change.
Capable of wearing a full face respirator when required.
