Foodservice Sales Managers/Ingredient Sales Rep Job

Specialty Food Importer located in New York City, seeking candidates with 5 to 7 years sales experience in the following areas:

Regional Sales Manager (Foodservice)  with culinary background – Seattle

Responsible for delivering results and ROI on all Foodservice sales in your respective market while managing broker(s), pricing, marketing and rebate programs, customer contact, reporting and other administrative functions.  Knowledge of regional distributors and key operators within region.  Additional responsibilities include reporting competitive activity, participating in the forecasting process, maintaining contacts at all levels of distribution and operations, formulating monthly pricing, submitting weekly call reports and week’s events, profitably selling our product lines and driving new items, and representation at all trade shows and conferences.  Must be willing to travel, work out of home office and have a general understanding of Microsoft Office.

Ingredient Sales Rep – New York

Selling specialty food ingredients to food manufacturers.  Fruits and concentrates a plus.  Knowledge of how ingredients are used in the manufacturing process, the trade accounts that use them for production,  and the key contacts at the purchasing and RD levels.  Up to 35-40% travel. Proficient in making sales presentations and managing regional trade shows.
